

Sebastiano Massaro, Ph.D., is the Founder and Director of Organizational Neuroscience Ltd. A neuroscientist and award-winning management scholar, he has been at the forefront of Organizational Neuroscience as an emerging field of research and practice.

He co-founded and chaired the Interest Group in Organizational Neuroscience and Biology at the Academy of Management, the world’s largest association of management scholars.

He is currently an Associate Professor at Surrey Business School and previously worked at Warwick Business School, where he led the University of Warwick’s Global Research Priority in Behavioral Science. He was also the first Ph.D. graduate of the UCL School of Management and has held visiting and fellowship appointments at leading institutions internationally.

Sebastiano’s research program advances Organizational Neuroscience as a rigorous and impactful field of scientific inquiry. His interdisciplinary work spans decision-making, organizational well-being, entrepreneurship, and human behaviour and has published in leading journals across management, psychology, ethics, and the life sciences, including Organizational Research Methods, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management Journal, and Nature Biotechnology.

Over the years, he has built a strong international research network and contributed to the development of the field through collaborations, doctoral supervision, and new research programmes.

Sebastiano is also an international speaker and educator, with experience across executive, postgraduate, and doctoral education. His work has attracted broad international media attention, from coverage in Forbes to broadcast and media interviews, helping bring research evidence to wider professional and public audiences.
